The Michelin LTX M/S2 tire features improvements in safety, longevity, and fuel efficiency for light trucks and SUVs. Michelin tire engineers incorporated several innovations and technologies into the next-generation LTX M/S tire. Its 3-D active sipes feature interlocking siping that allow the tread blocks to lock together and preserve rigidity in the blocks. Silica tread compound was added to the rubber formulation, allowing for greater wet performance. Through Michelin comfort control technology and precision manufacturing, the LTX M/S2 is designed to reduce vibrations and road noise for a quiet ride. With Advanced MaxTouch construction technology, a contact patch shape evenly distributes the forces of acceleration, braking, and cornering. The tire is available in 38 sizes including P Metric and LT, and rim diameters range from 15 to 20 in.
