Tube Fab/Roman Engineering offers an engine oil pickup tube assembly for diesel and gasoline engines. The design allows a 50% increased filtration area, according to the company, as well as an increased volume throughput. Other features include a decreased blockage potential with improved screen size options and a smaller footprint in the oil pan area. The number of components in the assembly is reduced from six or seven to three, thereby decreasing costs, and the assembly can be manufactured in various tube sizes to meet oil distribution requirements.
