Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products ' 24.5-in LvL ONE wheel offers a combination of strength and light weight. The wheel works with load range H tires and fleets and provides fuel savings by pulling 35% less weight than standard steel wheels on an 18-in wheel rig. According to the company, the 24.5-in LvL ONE is the strongest wheel in the 24.5- x 8.25-in standard wheel category with a load rating of 7850 lb (3560 kg)—450 lb (204 kg) more than steel alternatives and weighing 30 lb (13.6 kg) less. Designed for the working truck, vocational, construction, and over-the-road trailers, the wheel can contribute to an overall lighter vehicle, which translates into less stress on tires, brakes, engines, and drivetrains while using less fuel.
