The VCT11 sealing compound from Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is a specially engineered low-temperature fluorocarbon material that is suited for aerospace engine applications requiring high-temperature performance combined with low-temperature capabilities. The material is available in the form of O-rings as well as seals in a variety of geometries and gaskets. It operates at temperatures below -40°F and is one of only a few materials that meet the requirements of AMS 7379. It is said to have good low compression set properties for high stability, to perform well in aviation fuels, and to be resistant to high thermal stability oils.
