The Leica TDRA6000 Total Station from Hexagon Metrology is used for large-scale installation, assembly, measurement, adjustment, and alignment in applications such as aerospace tooling, printing presses, process machinery, erection of wind turbine or antenna towers, supercollider arrays, and any application requiring the precision location of components in three-dimensional space. It can target both reflective tape targets and corner cube reflectors automatically and can also measure without targets. Typical 3-D point accuracy at 35 m is 0.25 mm with reflectors. Reflectorless accuracy is 1 mm. The device is optimized for use within 300 m of the base unit.
