Specially designed for cutting highly abrasive materials, PCD (polycrystalline diamond) countersinks designed by Telcon for composite material applications feature a long service life. The PCD countersinks’ design allows for accurate forming of holes and provides longer life and better hole quality. Telcon offers PCD countersinks with interchangeable pilot and PCD countersinks with integral pilot. An interchangeable pilot allows for replacement of damaged pilots or substitution of various pilot diameters with the same countersink. Available in various body diameters from 3/8 to 1¼ in, the countersink with interchangeable pilot has a countersink angle of 100/130°. A PCD countersink with an integral pilot has a permanent pilot for constant hole diameters. With a countersink angle of 100/130°, the countersink with integral pilot comes in body diameters of 3/8 and ½ in and 10, 12, 14, and 17 mm.
