TechViz and Kineo CAM offer a software solution for accessibility research for mounting and dismounting of complex systems both in immersive and assisted mode. Its intention is to analyze the mounting or dismounting of complex systems by immersing the end user while offering a series of assistance functionalities. By putting the operator in the heart of its 3-D mockup, the software offers the user interaction with assistance to ease the search and validation of mounting or dismounting trajectories. This technical solution proposed by the partners implements products already tested separately within the automotive industry. TechViz XL enables display of an existing 3-D application on a frame wall—in stereo mode with tracking—to offer a complete collaborative work environment in immersive mode. And Kineo Path Planner enables management of collisions in a 3-D environment with its high-performance collision detector KCD to automatically search collision-free trajectories.
