High-performance speed reducers and increasers from Cotta Transmission change engine speed to operate an application at its peak efficiency. Designs are available for a range of driven equipment including pumps, generators, rock crushers, compressors, blowers, mixers, and chippers. Most models feature the choice of engine or independent mounting; with over-center or hydraulic clutch; in standard, modified-standard, or custom configurations; and clockwise or counterclockwise output rotation. Other features include capacities to 2500 hp (1860 kW), ratios up to 7:1, ground helical gears, and standard SAE flywheel housings.
