Cooper Bussmann’s expertise in CAN systems includes products and technologies in power management, power protection, and wired and wireless control systems, all of which are ruggedized for demanding on- and off-highway applications. Its OMNEX brand will feature a control system platform called ORIGA II, which is a powerful, open-system architecture that has a broad range of capabilities, from simplifying the development and expansion of vehicle CANs to extending that control via wireless systems. The ORIGA II platform empowers OEMs and integrators to envision and create applications for local and remote vehicle/machine control. Now, with the ability to develop CAN bus and distributed I/O, OEMs can get their ideas to market quickly without huge investments in time and resources.
