AC Schnitzer designs a high-performance brake system for the BMW M3. Offering height-adjustable racing suspension that is adaptable in compression and rebound, the system uses fixed calipers with six pistons on the front and four on the rear. The slotted brake discs, which are vented internally on both front and rear, respond quickly and precisely. Weight has been kept to a minimum to promote agility. Despite the substantially larger dimensions, the unsprung weight has been reduced by 4 kg (9 lb) in relation to the standard brake system. The company's brake kit also features deceleration values even on sustained use, in extreme heat, and in pouring rain. The brake system is available for the M3's three variants—the E90, E92, and E93—both as a complete system for front and rear or just for the front.
