New configurations of Sepro America’s Axess range of servo-driven beam robots provide molders up to 33% greater vertical reach, says the company. Axess 22 has a standard vertical stroke of 1400 mm (55 in) with 1600 mm (63 in) available, which is 200 mm (8 in) of additional stroke than previously available on this size of robot. The Axess 33 has a standard vertical stroke of 1600 mm (63 in), with 1800 mm (71 in) available. Telescoping arms, which can be used for low-ceiling applications, are also available on both the Axess 22 and 33. The vertical stroke on the smaller Axess 11 remains 1100 mm (39 in). Sepro’s cost-effective line of three-axis servo-driven robots is suitable for simple pick-and-place applications on smaller molding machines.
