Haimer USA's Zero Master digital 3-D sensor enables accurate measurements and identifies the X, Y, and Z dimensions of a workpiece. The workpiece can be approached from any of three directions and once the gauge reaches 0, the machine is resting directly over the edge of the workpiece. In addition to finding the zero point, the Zero Master allows measurement of other dimensions including surface flatness, orientation to machine tool spindle, and the ability to tram in the workpiece or fixture efficiently. The ER Collet Chucks were developed for high-performance machining and can be used for finishing, roughing, or drilling work.
