Binder-USA adds a PCB-mountable socket connector to its M12 line. The male and female receptacles feature PCB solder contacts and an integral shielding sheet that can be fastened to the circuit board before the soldering process. They are available with 4, 5, or 8 gold-plated contacts with A-, B-, or D-coding. When properly mated, the mated pair is IP 67-rated, protecting the connection from ingress of liquids and debris. Each receptacle is rear-mounted with PCB solder contacts. The panel-mount receptacles are fully mating-compatible with other M12 connectors, including cordsets and field-attachable connectors, and are part of Series 763 A-coded, Series 766 B-coded, and Series 825 D-coded connectors.
