A power clamping swing cylinder line from Jergens offers swing cylinders that improve function and decrease friction for improved wear life and operation. The cylinder design features squared tracks and pins for close tolerance and smooth motion as well as heavy-duty, low-friction rods and double-lip rod seals to prevent leakage. Top or bottom flange styles and single- or double-acting versions are available. Bottom flange cylinders offer through-hole bottom mounting or a top-plate mounting. Both are hydraulically activated, and either style can be manifold mounted or conventionally plumbed. Three sizes offer clamping capacities from 1100 to 5000 lb (500 to 2270 kg), and a nonthreaded body simplifies mounting.
