The No. 1002 is an electrically heated, 20 x 20 x 20 in (508 x 508 x 508 mm), 500ºF (260ºC) cabinet oven from Grieve used for various test procedures. Features include 4 in (101.6 mm) insulated walls, Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements, and 1/3-hp (0.25-kW) recirculating blower providing horizontal airflow across the load. The oven also offers stainless steel exterior and interior with continuously backwelded seam construction, heavy-duty door and frame, three nickel-plated wire shelves, and adjustable patented opposed louvers on supply and return ductwork. Safety equipment for handling flammable solvents, including explosion-venting door hardware, forced exhauster airflow safety switch, purge timer, and digital indicating temperature controller, is standard.
