French automotive cluster Mov’eo is dedicated to “private cars and public transport, safe for man and his environment.” Supported by government and the local authorities, Mov’eo carries a strategic and technological vision of big players in the automotive world. The group focuses on the challenges of four fields of activities: energy and environment; road safety; mobility and services; and mechatronics. Present throughout the Normandy and Paris regions and based around strategic test and research sites, the two main goals of the cluster are to generate research and design (R&D) collaborative projects and to develop R&D activities in the region, encouraging competitiveness among its members.
