The modular design of Kistler Instrument’s M12 and M14 measuring spark plugs types 6115B and 6118B consists of a demountable connection cable, replaceable sensor, and ceramic body, providing efficient maintenance and easy repairs. Flush-mounted installation of the measuring element allows a very high natural frequency of acoustic oscillation. As a result, the M12 and M14 are suitable for application tasks on large engines, on test rigs, and in vehicles. Accuracy has also been improved as a result of further development of sensor technology. Available with the most common heat values, the product range is constantly being upgraded to include additional geometries and heat values.
