­­Interstate Specialty Products offers a lightweight, energy-absorbent foam insulation with a durable skin that can be die-cut to specification. In­terstate Thermal Insulation Foam is made from a compressible polyolefin chemically cross-linked for improved stability and supplied with an adhesive backing. The lightweight closed-cell foam’s skin is moisture-proof and resistant to microorganisms. Suitable for a variety of applications, the foams are available in seven thicknesses from 0.125 to 2 in (3.175 to 51 mm) and in densities from 1.8 to 24 lb/ft3 (29 to 384 kg/m3). Capable of withstanding thousands of impacts, the foam can be used for automotive, construction, and industrial equipment applications.
