Simulation solutions

  • 10-Feb-2009 10:49 EST

LMS provides a combination of 1D and 3D simulation solutions for diesel powertrain challenges. The software suite includes Virtual.Lab motion, acoustics and durability solutions, and Imagine.Lab internal combustion engine, fluids systems, powertrain transmission, and vehicle thermal management solutions to design powertrain architectures that reduce CO2 emissions and economize fuel while maintaining reliability and sound quality. Solutions permit the study of powertrain from subsystems and components to the global engine architecture, including cranktrain, valvetrain, and timing chain; fuel injection; aftertreatment and exhaust systems; gearbox and driveline; and controls integration.
