Simulation tool

  • 10-Feb-2009 11:42 EST

Tested by 1500 organizations in 85 countries, the MapleSim high-performance multidomain modeling and simulation tool from Maplesoft shortens the product development cycle using physical modeling techniques. Users create the system diagram onscreen, as if on paper, and model equations are generated automatically. MapleSim then applies symbolic preprocessing techniques to the model equations, creating simplified models. Code generated from the models can be exported to real-time and to other applications, running faster than traditional simulation tools. Features include drag and drop modules calibrated for preferences; unit management to remove conversion errors; design documentation; and automatic simplification of complex models. Tools for model design include dynamic analysis, control design, and optimization.
