The PTM820 line of electronic control unit (ECU) test solutions from PTM Electronics offers electronics suppliers and remanufacturers development and testing of a range of automotive ECUs including ABS, engine and powertrain controllers, HVAC, body, IPCs, and telematics. The modular system includes Windows-based test development software and automotive-specific hardware for simulating the ECU environment. Software is database-driven with tools for specifying test sequences, parameters, device connectivity, and part number management.  An optional vision system is available, and hardware includes automotive communications, I/O, programmable power control, counter/timers, isolated programmable resistor simulators, relay controls, and dc motor simulators. Intelligent I/O provides real-time measurements and high-speed event simulations without a PC.
