Tekscan offers the next-generation TireScan system with VersaTek scanning electronics and a high-resolution tire footprint sensor. Other upgraded features include portability and improved scanning rates to measure and evaluate static and dynamic tire footprint pressure patterns. The system analyzes patterns as well as the contact area, perimeter area, length and width, and cross-sectional profiles of various tires under different load and inflation conditions. Cross-sectional pressure profiles and high-resolution color images for quantitative and qualitative analysis of passenger, truck, off-road, agricultural, and aircraft tires are provided to evaluate design and tread patterns, conduct quality control measurements, perform competitive benchmarking, and assess vehicle suspension. Optional rugged metal packaging protects against dirt and debris in harsh environments.
