­Hutchinson Fluid Transfer Systems studies, designs, and manufactures liquid or gas transfer circuits for motor vehi­cles. It has expertise with various materials including elastomers, plastomers, and metals, as well as design expertise with ther­mal, clamping, acoustic, dynamic, and fluid flow, using finite element analysis. The firm's fluid transfer systems for diesel engines include multimaterial solutions for air ducts with muffler if necessary; diesel particulate filter systems for several car manufacturers including PSA­, Renault, Audi, Fiat, Nissan, Hyundai, and GMDAT; common rail return hoses; and fuel system applications in metallic, rubber, plastic, and materials compatible with biofuel. The company has a range of quick connectors for all fluid transfer systems.
