The Adcole Model 1300 high-speed, end-of-line crankshaft gage measures tight tolerances in environmentally friendly engines and was developed to improve part production, minimize troubleshooting time, and eliminate the risk of delivering an unacceptable crankshaft. Model 1300 allows horizontal axis to facilitate automatic loading and features less than one min cycle times with accuracy to provide 3 µm roundness tolerances. The gage was designed to operate two or three shifts per day, has a granite surface, and features touch-screen controls, air bearings, and optical linear scales for end-of-line accuracy and to ensure inspection of critical tolerances.
