Two remachineable shaft collar kits from Stafford Manufacturing let users create custom bore sizes and shapes that they can rebore and machine to any type of configuration required. Kits feature eight sizes of either one- or two-piece fully assembled steel collars, and each has a 0.235 in (6 mm) pilot hole that can be machined by the user to match requirements, eliminating the need for special ordering. The kits offer a range of basic steel shaft collars and include sizes from 1.125 to 3 in (29 to 76 mm). They are suitable for prototyping and repairs, and typical applications include new machinery as well as maintenance for fabricating custom sizes to match worn or replacement shafts.
