The Microballon Meter, Mix, and Dispense machine from Fluid Research Corp. dispenses microballons with little or no breakage. Typically when adding microballons as a filler, a breakage rate of up to 80% can be expected, depending upon factors such as pump choice, material viscosity, material agitation, and temperature. This dispenser for microballon-filled materials reduces the microballon breakage (shrinkage rate) to a minimal amount. It features ViscoTec's Perfectly Dosed Progressing Cavity pumps to ensure nominal breakage of the microballons while incorporating the ability to integrate easily with robotic motion for enhanced accuracy, repeatability, and quality.
