Fanuc Robotics America offers the M-2000iA super heavy-duty robot and ARC Mate welding robots. Designed to meet customer requirements for handling truck, tractor, and automotive frames and parts, the six-axis M-2000iA/900L robot offers a 900-kg (1984-lb) payload and features a long reach and strong wrist, allowing users to move large, heavy parts some distance with improved stability. The rigid arm design has a vertical lifting stroke of 6.2 m (20 ft) for transferring heavy items. A second model, the M-2000iA/1200, offers a 1200-kg (2645-lb) payload and a 1.25 m (4.1 ft) offset from the faceplate with fully articulated motion at the wrist, and its controller operates with integrated functions such as vision and force sensing.
