No. 1005 is an electrically heated 350ºF (177ºC) cabinet oven from Grieve used for curing long composite parts in fixtures. Workspace dimensions measure 108 x 18 x 18 in (2743 x 457 x 457 mm), and Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements heat the unit while a 1000 ft3/min (28 m3/min), 1-hp (0.746-kW) recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow across the load. Features include 4-in (101-mm) insulated walls throughout, aluminized steel exterior, Type 304 2B stainless steel interior, motor-operated vertical lift door, 8 x 10 in (203 x 254 mm) double-pane Pyrex window for viewing the load, interior oven light, and a tower light to indicate oven status. All safety equipment required for handling flammable solvents is onboard, including motorized dampers on the intake and exhaust for accelerated cooling.
