Jet Edge's waterjet cutting systems feature SigmaTEK Systems' SigmaNEST Companion, which uses a wizard-based approach to allow waterjet operators with little or no CAD/CAM experience to design, edit, and nest parts quickly with little training. The package includes functions such as DXF import, TrueShape nesting, automatic path generation, and NC code generation. With it, waterjet operators can load DXF files to nest parts automatically or manually. They also can create new tasks using standard shapes available in the program's library, and they can edit part parameters and generate custom reports.
