ITT Interconnect Solutions redesigned the Trident Series T2P contact system for optimal contact alignment and improved performance. A three-pronged contact clip and redesigned body shape reduce play in the tip, providing contact alignment and secure mating. The stainless steel clips require less insertion force, and the design permits replacement of contacts without loss of sealing. T2P contacts are offered in two body styles: standard brass and high conductivity copper alloy. Both have tin, gold flash, or gold plating options and can accommodate wire sizes of 14-26 American wire gauge with mechanical endurance of up to 200 mating cycles.
