Gyrometer and accelerometer

SensorDynamics' SD755 integrates a gyrometer and accelerometer in a single package. Both sensors transmit their signals over a shared SPI interface that assists further processing as well as minimizes development time and system costs. Self monitoring of sensor elements and signal conditioning path alerts immediately if a parameter goes out of precisely defined limits. More than 40 parameters are monitored to ensure that the system is fail-safe. The system can be installed in the passenger compartment or under the hood. Applications include stability control and rollover detection systems.
