ADAM (Autonomous Delivery and Manipulation) from RMT Robotics is an intelligent self-guided vehicle that is designed for product delivery. Its navigational software and laser range finding system allow it to plot independent paths from start position (load point) to destination (press cavity). The unit features a compact design (510 mm tall, 1020 mm diameter), rotational spotting capability, and ability to accommodate multiple-style presses. Velocity is up to 1500 mm/s and payload is up to 150 kg. Although the tire industry is the first to embrace ADAM, its adaptability is suited for a variety of industries.
