Jammes creates modular solutions for roll-forming and welding tubular shells and can process a variety of cylindrical, oval, cone, and multiradii parts used to make filter shells, inlet/outlet tubes, and heat shields in the diesel industry. The company’s continuous longitudinal welding machine Seamstar produces 240 welded shells per hour and provides accurate finished products. Shells to be welded move continuously one by one under the Seamstar’s fixed welding torch. Welding does not stop between consecutive shells, and as a result, downtime is reduced and productivity is improved.
