ETAS offers the ES500 family of electronic control unit (ECU) access modules. The ES510 has four Ethernet ports, the ES511 has four Ethernet ports and two CAN/LIN ports, and the ES512 has four Ethernet ports and a FlexRay A/B port. All ES500 products cover the major ECU interfaces: XETK, Ethernet, CAN, LIN, and FlexRay. Modules can be connected to each other via Ethernet for expansion, and the series provides a universal ECU and BUS access system for in-vehicle applications. Operating temperature range is -30 to +70°C (-22 to +158°F), and standard RJ45 cables and connectors can be used. The CAN and Ethernet data is time synchronized by the ES500 hardware, ensuring accurate data collection.
