An assembly system from Hess Industries enables production of diesel oxidation catalysts, diesel particulate filters, and selective catalytic reduction components and assemblies. Several systems and methods allow assembly of converter substrate with the support mat into a stainless steel tube or shell. These systems vary from simple manually operated stations to fully automated assembly cells.
