The AMPSEAL 16 connector system from Tyco Electronics features a wire-to-wire and wire-to-device connector line that is designed for harsh environments. The system features the HDSF size 16 pin and socket contacts. The contacts are stamped and formed versions of screw-machined MIL-C-39029 contacts. The 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 12 position receptacle and pin housings offer one-piece assembly for reduced handling costs and inventory. A single latch design features an anti-overstress feature.
