Radiall’s R3C (Radiall car crimp connector) is a USCAR and FAKRA standard-compliant, one-step crimping connector. Offering improved process controls, the solution allows a fully automated crimping process with 50% reduction or more of assembly time as compared to hand crimping, according to the company. The standard crimping module, or mini applicator, can be used with all automatic crimping presses. Available for cable sizes 2.6 mm (0.102 in)/50 ohms, 3.2 mm (0.125 in)/50 ohms, 5 mm (0.196 in)/75 ohms, and 5 mm (0.196 in)/50 ohms, the R3C connectors are fully intermateable with all connectors based on FAKRA and USCAR standards.
