Algor’s DesignCheck is a fully integrated simulation tool for users of the Pro/ENGINEER integrated 3-D CAD/CAM/CAE solution from Parametric Technology. DesignCheck is a finite element analysis software that allows linear static stress analysis of single-part CAD models. Users can virtually test the behavior of product designs to improve time to market. The software’s single user interface provides direct CAD/CAE data exchange and full associativity with most CAD solid modelers, allowing engineers to choose analysis tools and providing access to a range of simulation capabilities including static stress and mechanical event simulation, linear dynamics, fatigue, CFD, electrostatics, and piping.
