Subaru Robin offers a line of diesel generators, powered by Hatz four-cycle, single-cylinder diesel engines. The RGD3300H and RGD5000H offer convenient, durable operation for diesel-ready industries such as oil, mining, and marine. The RGD3300H uses a 6.8-hp (5.0-kW) Hatz 1B30 engine with a rated output of 3000 W, while the larger RGD5000H uses a 9.9-hp (7.4-kW) Hatz 1B40 for a rated output of 5000 W. Both have electric starters with recoil backup, a full-power switch, voltmeter, and 12-V dc charging as well as a spark arrestor that decreases noise and ignition risk. Ground fault circuit interrupter receptacles and fuseless circuit breakers protect the current level. Other features include multiple receptacles for connections at various jobsites and protection from a rugged steel-wrap frame.
