Two options for Agilent’s compact, low-power (less than 15 W), high-speed Acqiris eight-bit PCI digitizer give users more selections depending on application and budget requirements. The U1071A-002 model provides the same eight-bit, dual-channel data conversion operation of its original, with up to 2 GS/s rates and a reduced analog bandwidth of 500 MHz. It provides up to 256 Msample of acquisition memory, or 128 Msample per channel in two-channel mode. Applications include time-of-flight measurements for ranging and inspection applications such as lidar and ultrasound, and production testing of semiconductor components and systems. The 1-GHz version incorporates an option for simultaneous acquisition and readout, which is designed to aid measurement throughput.
