The 6.7-L Case 667TA/EDJ engine delivers 99 to 227 hp (74-169 kW) to various wheel loaders and crawler dozers and features enhanced durability. Part of the company’s Family IV line of engines, high-pressure common-rail injection improves fuel efficiency, injection control, and flexibility. A wastegate turbocharger stabilizes boost pressure to protect the engine and the turbocharger while improving response. Aftercooling reduces intake air temperatures to produce more power and cleaner emissions. Other benefits include 500-h oil change intervals, an automatic belt tensioner to reduce downtime, integral water pump built into the engine block, and approval for use with B20 biodiesel.
