Spirit AeroSystems signed an agreement with Cessna Aircraft to produce the fuselage and empennage for its new Citation Columbus business jet. Spirit has been participating in the joint development phase of the program and has had a team co-located with Cessna for several months. It was also recently announced that Rockwell Collins will provide its Pro Line Fusion avionics for the Citation Columbus, which is expected to debut in 2014.
