A touchscreen from Glacier Computer permits operation in condensation-intense environments and on the company’s rugged Everest line of all-in-one computers designed for forklifts, carts, pallet jacks, and yard jockeys. The heated touchscreen prevents condensation refreezing and allows use without interruption when a vehicle is driven from a freezer to an ambient environment and back again in applications such as cold-storage warehousing. The Everest features a 10.4- or 12.1-in color LCD and touchscreen, Intel processor, industrial hard drive, integrated wireless, multiple I/O, and an internal 10- to 60-V dc power supply. Solid-state hard drives protect against shock, vibration, and temperature extremes.
