TT electronics IRC offers Anotherm substrate technology—a thermally efficient glass dielectric material designed to withstand higher voltages and increase light output for LEDs. Anotherm Plus’ anodized aluminum material withstands voltages to improve thermal management for solid-state lighting and power LEDs in applications including emergency vehicle and general lighting. Anotherm Plus substrates offer improved adhesion and pull strength as well as higher dielectric strength, providing more surface options for design engineers and enhanced thermal transfer for LED assemblies mounted directly onto the substrates. The material’s high thermal conductivity and low thermal resistance help increase the LED’s lifespan, according to the company.
