ITT Interconnect Solutions’ stainless-steel D-sub shells are corrosion-resistant and meet requirements under military-specification "P" grade stainless steel as well as JEDEC standards for Restriction of Hazardous Substances compliance. The stainless-steel D-subminiature shells are available in sizes E, A, B, C, and D, including 9 through 50 contact patterns in standard sizes and 15 through 78 contact patterns in high-density sizes. Suitable for various applications including marine and aerospace, the stainless-steel shells’ maximum current per contact is 40 A; they have been tested for continuous exposure to salt spray and corrosive chemicals.
