The Mini Mill 2 from Haas Automation is a versatile CNC machining center with extended travels of 20 x 16 x 14 in (508 x 406.4 x 356 mm) on each axis. Features include a standard 40-taper spindle that spins to 6000 rpm powered by a 7.5-hp (5.6-kW) vector drive system. A 40 x 14 in (1016 x 356 mm) T-slot table provides room for multiple fixtures or a single- or dual-axis rotary table; a 15-in color LCD monitor with USB port, 1 MB of program memory, and 10-pocket carousel-style tool changer are standard. Options are available for a 20-pocket carousel tool changer, a 24+1 tool side-mount, fourth- and fifth-axis drives, programmable coolant nozzle, high-speed machining software, and a chip auger.
