Sure Power's family of dc/dc converters and battery equalizers is designed for 24-V vehicle applications. The dc/dc converters are used to power 12-V loads such as radios, GPS units, accessories, and 12-V power ports. Battery equalizers are used when it is necessary to provide substantial and/or high transient 12-V power. Designed with a rugged die-cast aluminum housing and modern switch-mode technology, the different models cover output currents ranging from 5 to 100 A. All Sure Power converters and battery equalizers are designed for the rugged off- and on-highway vehicle environment. According to the company, the devices are 95% efficient, waterproof (IP67), and offer overload protection.
