Belt kits

ContiTech Power Transmission Group features an expanded line of complete belt kits: the multiple V-ribbed belt kits with torsional vibration dampers (TVD) and torsional vibration damper isolators (TVDi). The task of the TVD is to absorb vibrations from the crankshaft. With the TVDi, the drivebelt of the auxiliary assembly is also decoupled, saving wear and tear on the belt and the driven assembly. Modern diesel engines can no longer be operated without a belt pulley. These new kits with TVD/TVDi are available primarily for common diesel engines. The kits will also be listed in TecDoc, which is the digital information system that provides the free automotive replacement parts business and workshops with comprehensive data for purchasing purposes.
