ZF handles Hino transmission

ZF signed a long-term contract with Hino Motors, a company in the Toyota Group, to supply 16,000 medium- and heavy-duty truck transmissions per year. The sales volume of the order will gradually increase from the current €24 million to more than €100 million in 2012. In a separate announcement, ZF stated that its Commercial Vehicle and Special Technology Division is investing more than €200 million in new machinery and manufacturing systems at its Friedrichshafen plant. The company's plan also calls for the construction of new buildings.
