Club Car extends line with electric Carryall

Club Car’s Carryall 252 IQ Plus is an electric-powered variant of the Carryall 252, which is powered by a 351-cm3 Kawasaki gasoline engine.

Rounding out its commercial line, Club Car has introduced its newest electric vehicle, the Carryall 252 IQ Plus.

Incorporating Club Car’s own IQ Plus System, the 252 IQ Plus provides 500 amps. The high-output charger and eight 6-V battery configuration gives a range of up to 86 mi (140 km) on a single charge. The IQ Plus System also allows the vehicle’s top speed to be customized between 5 and 17 mph (8 and 27 km/h). For optimal performance, acceleration and motor-braking can also be customized.

Carryall 252 IQ Plus complements Club Car’s Carryall 252, which is powered by an 11.5-hp (8.6-kW) 351-cm3 Kawasaki gasoline engine. Both vehicles feature an aluminum frame, chassis, and cargo bed, and a 15.3 ft3 (0.43 m3) cargo box capable of carrying 500 lb (230 kg). Both are capable of a maximum speed of 17 mph (27 km/h), and have reduced-speed reverse.

Designed to maneuver rough terrain, both Carryall 252s have a 6.4-in (160-mm) ground clearance and a 78.5-in (2000-mm) wheelbase. There is also an 11.4-in (290-mm) ground clearance under the foot platform.
